Duarte supports Caldrew's investment work: sourcing, valuation, modelling and the analysis behind each deal. He came up in M&A and transaction advisory, earlier at Beresford Capital and Haitong, and holds a Master's in Finance from Católica Lisbon.
Hugo Martins da Costa
Chief Financial Officer
Hugo leads Caldrew's finance function: the reporting, structure and governance that long-term ownership depends on. He held director roles at Banco BIG and Banco Finantia, and taught as an assistant professor, bringing the discipline of someone who has worked deals from the numbers up.
João Bento

Former CEO of CTT, where he led the company's transformation from Portugal's postal operator into a leading Iberian logistics group. Earlier he ran Efacec and Grupo Manuel Champalimaud, and was COO of Brisa. As Non-Executive Partner, he brings the judgement of a career spent leading companies at scale.
João de Sousa Aroso
Founding Partner
Founded Leadzai and led it as CEO through its sale. Earlier, he led the acquisition, turnaround and sale of Páginas Amarelas, the kind of work Caldrew now does as a firm. He also serves on the board of Erakulis.
